About
Silver Campground has 29 single sites spaced closely together that can accommodate tents or RVs up to 30 feet. Music, presentations and more are put on at the adjacent Silver Amphitheater on many Saturday nights during summer months. This campground is equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, parking spurs, toilets and a central garbage depository. Interpretive trails are also available. The Silver amphitheater can hold up to 100 people and costs $32.00. Showers and RV Dump Station are located in the neighboring Silver Overflow campground for all campers.Between 05/22/2026 and 09/06/2026 this location is staffed. Please call (575) 682-1518 to speak with local staff. From 09/07/2026 to 05/09/2027 this location is unstaffed. Directions
Travel east on US82 from Cloudcroft, turn left onto NM244. In approximately 4 miles turn right at the Silver-Saddle-Apache Campground Complex sign (Forest Road 24C).
