This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature. If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. For facility specific information, please call (661) 702-1420.Located near the confluence of Phelps Creek and the Chiwawa River, about 23 miles from Fish Lake, there are 7 tent sites and 6 equestrian sites at this campground. Campsite dimensions are as follows: Site #1 - 50' x 10' Site #2 - 50' x 10' Site #3 - 75' x 15' Site #4 - 100' x 8' Site #5 - 95' x 15' Site #6 - 35' x 15' Site #7 - 90' x 10' Site #8 - 90' x 11' Site #9 - 100' x 10' Site #10 - 60' x 15' Site #11 - 76' x 11'
